FAQ

Does the report cost extra?

No it does not. The one-time use of the device and the resulting standard report is just $95. If a custom report is required, let us know and there may be a small services fee.

How long will the battery last?

The device lasts up to 90 days for most retail stores. Devices in extremely high traffic areas such as conference halls or transit hubs may have a shorter life span.

How do I get the device back to you?

Just like a Netflix movie, Go is postage-paid so once the data collection period is over, simply remove the device and place it in any mailbox and it will be returned to eyeQ.

When do I get the results?

Once your device(s) have been returned to eyeQ we process the data with our proprietary software, usually issuing a full report within 48 hours.

What kind of data is collected?

Go detects age, gender, traffic count, dwell time, direction of movement, time/date, proximity and emotion.

Can Go tell if someone picks up a product?

No, it cannot.

Does Go use eye tracking technology?

No, it does not.  Go does use facial analysis to determine the generic aspects of a shopper such as approximate age, gender and facial expression.  This is not facial recognition, and if Go sees the same person twice it will count them as two different people.

What about privacy?

As a member of the Future of Privacy Forum we use a "privacy by design" approach. Our processes ensure that raw data is discarded immediately after it is analyzed by our software.
